Voters will decide if West Sacramento will continue one-fourth cent of the existing one-half cent sales tax for general government purposes until 2033. (The existing one-fourth cent is set to expire in 2013). In conjunction with that question, voters will be asked an advisory question on whether the proceeds of the sales tax, if the extention is approved, should be used to fund the operations of a streetcar system serving West Sacramento.Amount of funding at stake: $1 million annually.
