New Jersey has an amendment asking voters if they wish to require all revenue raised by New Jersey’s current fuel taxes to be dedicated to funding no other purpose but transportation-system upgrades.  Currently only a portion is required to go to transportation while the rest can be repurposed by the state legislature.  Transit projects are eligible for fuel tax revenue.
