Results: Failed, 48% - 52%

Voters will consider a proposal to increase the county's Natural Resource Depletion Fee paid by mining compaines from 15 cents to 50 cents per ton. The funds raised will be used for infrastructure and traportation projects. Of the 35 cent increase, 10 cents would go to road improvements and 25 cents would go to Columbia County Rider, the county's transit agency.
