Results: Passed, 70%-30% for Sales Tax, 72%-28% for Bond

A $919 million capital improvement proposal called “Improve Our Tulsa” would extend an existing 1.1% sales tax and a $355 million bond package. The package is multimodal. $30 million is provided for transit, including a bus rapid transit project. $23.4 million is provided for bike and pedestrian infrastructure. The measure also includes some non-transportation infrastructure projects. Tulsa County plans a separate vote in Spring 2014 on the extension of their portion of the existing sales tax.
