Description
Question 3 asks voters to approve $63,500,000 in transportation bonds. $60,000,000 will be used to match federal highways funds or to provide direct funding to fund improvements to the State’s highways, roads and bridges; $1,800,000 will be used to repair or renovate existing maintenance facilities or to construct new maintenance facilities; and $1,700,000 will be used to purchase buses or for the rehabilitation of existing buses for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority’s fleet.
