Results: Failed, 63%-37%
A 1% sales tax increase for the ten-county metro Atlanta region to support a long list of transportation projects. Almost 52% of the funding would go to transit projects.
The measure was authorized by legislation passed in 2010 to create12 special tax districts each with the authority to place a 1% sales tax on the ballot in 2012 for transportation projects.
